You have to enter three values for a point, line or area to be plotted, and the three can't sum to more than 1 (or 100%).ĭifferent lines and areas are seperated by one empty row. You can't mix formats in one row though! Also do not enter the percentage symbol (%)! Mixing these formats between rows is possible. If you are confused, try reloading the page and taking a good look at the example data!įor the values you can use either decimals 0.2, 0.3, 0.5 or percentages 20, 30, 50. Other parameters, like color, opacity or shape also have to be named to in the top row, but do not need to be in any specific order. You will get a warning when the column names are not consistent between the points, lines, and areas tables. Note that you have to keep the order of the your three column names consistent between points, lines and areas. The axis labels are placed in counter-clockwise order: First column: top, second column: left, third column: right. These first three will be entered as axis labels in the ternary plot. Your variable names have to be the first three values of this first row. The top row has to contain your column names.
